Yesterday we reported that local band Abe & Tell‘s film clip which features 500 girls holding up an iPad with images from the songs original music video has gone viral.
Thing is, apparently the same idea was used by The Shiny Brights just days before Abe & Tell’s clip was released and by South African band Wrestlerish back in 2010. The previous clips used a piece of paper rather than an iPad and featured both genders rather than just easy on the eyes femme botts. Two strikes.
Together they have received just over 10,000 views on YouTube, where Abe & Tell have racked up 337, 147 views. It’s a cruel, cruel world.
