Beyonce – 1+1
Another absolutely amazing composition by The Dream. One of Beyonce’s most spirited and intense vocal performances ever. Sick sentimentality.

The Dream – Wedding Crasher
Everything that “1+1” does, “Wedding Crasher” does times ten. Hilarious, melancholic, catchy as fuck.

Jhene Aiko – Stranger
Hell exotic sounding – really grown and seriously emotional.

AraabMUZIK – Underground Stream
Dipset hard-style. What more needs to be said?

Nguzunguzu – Timesup
I feel like these guys are transforming what club music can be. This song is so huge but so simple. Everything they did this year was amazing.

Prurient – A Meal Can Be Made
Incredibly heavy, almost to the point of self-parody. Truly rending and fucking radical synthesizer music.

Real Estate – It’s Real
Basically the polar opposite of “A Meal Can Be Made.” Incredibly affecting. The chorus is inspiring.

Spaceghostpurrp – Stoner Gang (feat. Main Attrakionz)
Spaceghostpurrp and Main Attrakionz on the same track is like a dream come true for me. There are so many sick young rappers coming up right now, it’s unbelievable. I want to do a collab with spaceghostpurrp.

OJ Da Juiceman – Stunt
My favorite hip-hop beat of 2011. Sounds like Nguzunguzu and Lil John hanging out together.

Soulja Boy – That Right (Feat. Diamond)
Without a doubt the most positive vibes of 2011.
