Beyoncé Just Dropped Her Live Coachella Album Outta Nowhere & We’re Unworthy

The unexpected is to be expected with Beyoncé, the artist who has probably dominated the past five years of pop music more authoritatively than any of her contemporaries. But that doesn’t mean we weren’t shocked to wake up to a new, 40-track live album sourced from her legendary 2018 Coachella set.

That brass section. That drum line. Those collaboration with her former Destiny’s Child costars Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and her husband Jay-Z. It’s all in Homecoming: The Live Album, plus so much more: the set also includes a version of Lift Every Voice and Sing, featuring her daughter Blue Ivy, plus two other bonus tracks.

Homecoming: The Live Album appearing on the major streaming platforms coincides with a release of a concert film of the same name popping up on Netflix. It is, quite simply, a bonza time to be a Bey fan now that her instantly legendary set has been immortalised in two new formats.
