Guy Gets Text From Dad Just Casually Watching “Tom York” Play Backyard Show

A poor bloke has very nearly died from FOMO after getting a text from his dad saying he was watching Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke play at a friend’s neighbour’s house.

Reddit user “verylittlesound” posted a screenshot of a text he received that read “In Oxford at garden party with Suzie’s neighbour’s, about to hear entertainment from neighbour Tom York (sic) of Radiohead.
Apparently he played a cheeky 30-minute set including “Desert Island Disk“, “No Surprises“, “Street Spirit“, “Reckoner” and “I Might Be Wrong” – information he sourced by making his dad go around and ask other people who were a bit more cluey about the kids and their music.
In case you’re keen for some video evidence, here’s an extremely low quality and quite short video of Yorke having a muck around and playing a bit of “Reckoner“:
Frankly I completely agree with not indulging Thom Yorke in the ridiculous spelling of his otherwise completely ordinary name.
