Recent recipients of one of the only music awards still worth its weight in er…plastic, Sydney lads Guineafowl have been on the up ever since they signed with indie label Dew Process at the end of last year. According to FBi’s SMAC voters, these guys wrote the best Sydney song of last year, so it’d be wise to check them out in all their headlining glory to see what all the fuss is about. ‘Hello Anxiety’ will be Guinefowl’s first EP, following their singles released as part of General Pants’ Major Label project during 2010. They’ll be supported by two equally excellent bands; the darkly beautiful and recently BDO-conquering cameras and MUM/World Bar favourite, We Say Bamboulee. Get involved.
