Grouplove Tour Diary En Route To Oz

Los Angeles based girl-n-guy fivesome Grouplove have been garnering attention with their youthful brand of slacker indie pop that recalls the sound of the Moldy Peaches crossed with Pavement and Los Campesinos!. Think upbeat singalong jams, call and response vocals, and a plethora of handclaps. The band, comprising members Christian Zucconi (Lead Vocals, Guitars), Sean Gadd (bass), Ryan Rabin (drums), Hannah Hooper (Vocals), Andrew Wessen (guitars), are heading Down Under to play Splendour In The Grass and sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.

By the time they arrive they’ll be well accustomed to life on the road, having extensively toured America, Europe and the UK, and so they put together a mini tour diary for Pedestrian to show us a few of the places they’ve visited before landing in Oz.

Apparently life on the road isn’t all cocaine and strippers…

1) on stage with balloons in San Francisco

2) Early morning snooze at the airport

3) Brooklyn show in New York, the last stop of the American tour before heading to Europe

4) Walking through Glastonbury with our handmade, customized raincoats (thanks Hannah!)

5) Stuck in the Glastonbury mud

6) Best way to stay together at a festival… 5 person t-shirt

7) Dressing room right next to Kings of Leon

8) On stage at Rock Werchter in Belgium… amazing day
