Grinderman To Headline 2011 Meredith Music Fest

This year the Meredith Music Festival is celebrating a milestone with it’s 21st birthday. In the true Australian fashion MMF is planning to commemorate the anniversary with a massive blowout of epic proportions. We can’t think of a much bigger way to start a party than a headlining set by Grinderman.

Nick Cave is going to make his first ever appearance at the Supernatural Amphitheatre alongside his bandmates, Meredith regular Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos. The Grinderman live show is a fiercely visceral and beautiful ride through a thick swamp of infectious funk grooves, snarling rock and stoner blues. It alone is worth the price of admission.

Speaking of which, if you want a chance at getting hold of a ticket you better enter the ballot.
