A few weeks back, Grimes performed ‘Go’, the song she originally wrote for Rihanna, during her Governors Ball set, and all we had to go on were a few crappy-quality Vine videos. Knowing this wasn’t enough, Grimes has finally stepped up and released the whole thing on her Soundcloud, and it’s a brilliant summer jam that will definitely make you feel a bit brighter on this winter day.
So there you have it! The song is a little poppier than your standard Grimes fare, but it makes us beyond excited for her upcoming album.
The accompanying press photo was shot by Claire Boucher‘s brother Mac, and she says that they look they were striving for is “an anime elf assassin who is a big fan of Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline.”
