Lizzo has crushed the list of 2020 Grammy Award nominees, garnering eight of the suckers on her continual journey to world domination. The singer, flautist, and all-around pop killer has the chance to win awards like Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, which would not exactly be a bad haul.

Elsewhere, Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X have garnered a slew of nominations, reflecting their immense impact on the psyches of a generation of young music aficionados.

Australian artists are in the mix, too, with both Rüfus Du Söl and Flume securing nominations in the Best Dance/Electronic Album contest; Rüfus Du Söl also have a shot at Best Dance Recording, too.

Then there’s Melbourne dudes The Teskey Brothers, whose record Run Home Slow could win Best Engineered Album in the non-classical category. Absolute scenes when that Australian blues-roots-rock bonanza defeats Billie Eilish for that award.

You can have a look at most of the nominees below. For the full list, including the classical and new age musos we heartlessly left out, click here.
