Ineligible for the vanilla flavoured ARIAs, Gotye’s Making Mirrors picked up its first major gong of the year after beating the likes of The Middle East, Ball Park Music, Big Scary, The Jezabels, Papa VS Pretty, Kimbra, Drapht, Architecture In Helsinki and Art Vs Science in triple j’s J Award Album of the Year.
