Gotye Among The Most Influential Men In The World

According to an AskMen countdown of the year’s most influential men, Gotye has slightly less influence than James Cameron but slightly more than either of Tom Hardy, Harvey Weinstein or Alec Baldwin. The ARIA-winning Aussie ranked 45th on a list which also included human K-Pop meme Psy, belated Grand Slam winner Andy Murray, and DONDA President Kanye West.

Top spot went to James Bond who became the first (albeit fictional) man this year to shade Usain Bolt, with the fastest man in the world placing second, followed by beloved ex-POTUS Bill Clinton, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, and child star no longer Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Out and proud R&B crooner Frank Ocean was the highest placed musician at 8th just ahead of the biggest influence on female dream boards everywhere, Ryan Gosling, current POTUS Barack Obama and the winningest Olympian of all time Michael Phelps.
