‘Masked Singer’ Monster Gorgi Coghlan Is Striking While The Iron’s Hot With A Live Show

Fresh off of yoinking the cumbersome felt Monster head off her scone in front of a less-than-live TV audience, Masked Singer third-place getter Gorgi Coghlan has this morning announced a very special, very intimate one-off live show in December, capitalising on everyone remembering that she’s actually got a bloody incredible set of pipes.

Following her big reveal on The Masked Singer Australia last night, Coghlan announced a special one-off show set for Melbourne in December, where the Project host will be joined on-stage by a professional 5-piece band. Together, the assembled lineup will rumble through a string of tunes from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Eva Cassidy, Patty Griffin, and Sara Bareilles.

Unmasked: An Evening with Gorgi Coghlan is set to go down on Thursday, December 12th at Chapel off Chapel in the inner-Melbourne suburb of Prahran. Coghlan unveiled the details of the show earlier this morning on social media.

Coghlan, for the record, has a long history in the professional singing realms, having served as a member of the We Will Rock You theatrical cast and even performing at the 2003 AFL Grand Final before turning her attentions to TV presenting full-time.

‘Course that hasn’t stopped her from making the occasional sporadic musical appearance over the years, including this insanely good turn at the Eva Cassidy version of Sting’s Fields of Gold with fellow-secret muso Waleed Aly on guitar.

Tickets for the special live performance are available now from the venue. Get on it.
