Good Vibrations Announce Set Times, Aloe Blacc

Aloe Blacc & The Grand Scheme have been added to next week’s Good Vibrations lineup, who presumably will replace Janelle Monae and Cee-Lo, (who have both canceled after receiving Grammy nods and requests to perform at the Awards ceremony which lands on 13 February).

Blacc will join the likes of Ludacris, Phoenix, Faithless and Yolanda Be Cool (who all compete as the final acts of the night), as well as Friendly Fires, Sasha, The Ting Tings, Miike Snow, Fat Freddy’s Drop, etc.

The set times are now released and those of you who have checked it out will have also noticed a rather interesting – if not ironic, perhaps – clash between ex lovers Kelis and Nas. The pair filed for divorce early last year, ending almost seven years of marriage. In what was described as a bitter divorce battle, which included quarreling over child support payments, Kelis and Nas insist they’ve moved on. So I suppose this clash is sheer coincidence. Or is it? In this test of loyalty, let’s not pretend they’re both not betting on who draws the larger crowd.
