The band were due to perform tonight at the Enmore Theatre as part of their Say Yes To Life tour to a completely sold out crowd, but have had to pull the plug hours before the doors opened.

Posting on their Facebook this afternoon, the Gang Of Youths lads explained the situation and their genuine upset feelings about having to postpone the first show that they fully sold on the tour, but promised that they’d return at the end of January to perform for everyone who bought tickets.

Tonight’s show is the first of six at the Enmore Theatre between now and when Gang Of Youths duck over to the US for a tour over December, and it’s not certain whether they’ll also have to postpone the rest of this week’s scheduled gigs. The Gangs fellas are also scheduled to play in Brisbane on November 24 as part of the A More Perfect Union festival alongside Luca BrasiThelma PlumJack River and more.

Gang Of Youths assured that everyone who can make it to their rescheduled show on January 31 will be able to attend with their existing tickets, but urge those who need to get a refund to do so before midnight next FridayNovember 30.
