Gang Of Youths Are Chuckin’ A Cheeky Festival In Brisbane & The Lineup Is A+

Well christ on a bloody bike, the good lads in Gang of Youths have only gone and announced they’ve created their own festival out of just about nowhere this afternoon.

Punters in Brisbane aggrieved by the fact that the group somehow managed to leave them off their seriously gargantuan Say Yes To Life tour throughout November (or anyone who slept on tickets severely) will be pleased to know that not only has the band decided to make it up to QLD punters, but they’re doing so by creating a festival of their very own: A More Perfect Union.

In the middle of the Say Yes tour, Gang of Youths are officially shooting up north to the beautiful city of Brisbane, taking over the giant Riverstage venue where they’ll headline a hand-picked lineup of best friends and former tourmates in what the band hopes will be the first of many.

The group has tapped a who’s who of good people for support in the form of Charlie CollinsJack RiverLuca Brasi, and Thelma Plum, which should be more than enough to get even the most stay-at-home of you itching to head on out into the good night.

The show goes down on Saturday November 24th, in between Gang of Youths’ run of shows at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre that’s as sold out as sold out gets.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 11am on Thursday August 9th (that’s tomorrow, ya dummies) via Ticketmaster and Gang of Youths official website.

Might want to start prepping your travel plans. I hear Queensland is bloody nice that time of year.
