Gang Of Youths Add More Dates To Sold Out Tour, Get ‘Em While They’re Hot

After selling out literally every date on their Say Yes To Life tour across AustraliaSydney‘s best Gang of Youths have added seven (7) more dates to the mammoth run this November.

It’s so bloody big in fact that they’re essentially turning their time at Melbourne‘s Forum and Sydney‘s Enmore Theatre into short-lived residencies, playing a whopping five shows at each venue.

Tickets for the rest of the tour basically flew out the door, and so the final shows announced add one more date to each of the cities (and two more to Syd and Melb), giving everyone one last chance at seeing the band on this tour cycle.

Frontman David Le’Aupepe also announced on his Instagram that the band have partnered with Plus1 an initiative that connects bands with worthy initiatives and organisations, and gets artists to commit $1 from sales to be donated.

Gang Of Youths will be donating $1 from every ticket sold to Aboriginal Legal Service, an organisation that gives support and legal advice to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and in turn pushing for social change and the right to justice and equality.

If my maths are correct (please note I haven’t had a math class in 10 years), this should equate to about $13,800 donated from Gang Of Youths, provided all these new shows sell out. That’s a coupla bloody clams, friends!
