Free RN? Come And Watch The Aussie Music Industry Play With Its Balls

Greetings, Sydney friends, on this kinda miserable Friday afternoon.

Are you free right now? Kinda bored? Fancy watching a bunch of non-sportz types make prats of themselves on the soccer field, while knocking back a Mary’s burger and Young Henry’s frothy one?
If you answered ‘yes’, read on. If you answered ‘no’, please scroll to the bottom*.
This afternoon, a bunch of the Aussie music industry’s key players – including us, shux – are coming together for Musica Copa: a 5-a-side charity soccer match you’ve never heard of because this is the first year it’s been open to the public (we usually like making dicks of ourselves behind closed doors).
Last year, the $12k raised was divvied up between St Vinnie’s, BeyondBlue and Ted Noff’s Foundation, so it’s a v. good shout.
As well as P.TV, there’ll be the teams from FBi Radio, Future Classic, Groovin the Moo, inthemix, Ministry of Sound, MTV Australia, Red Bull Music Academy, Sony Music, UNDR Ctrl, Universal Music, WME etc etc etc. – it’s bound to get bloody competitive.
The festivities kick off at 2pm at KIKOFF Fraser Park, Marrickville, with music from the FBi Click DJ crew keepin’ it real until 10pm.
Entry is a $10 donation at the door, in exchange for a wristband and heaps of Friday fun. Fair, very fair.
To get a vibe for Musica Copa, check this video featuring (un)official Musica Copa Ambassadors and general loose units The Meeting Tree.

See you pitch-side.
