Flume is about to tee off on the first round of his five-week US tour that includes 8 sets at Austin music conference SXSW; and what could be a more encouraging send off than confirmation that his fantastic debut album has gone platinum in Australia – just a few months after its November 2012 release?
Lead single “Holdin On” – also certified platinum in Australia – has an official music video, released today, and gives you an insight into the occasionally mangina-filled touring life of Flume during this year’s Laneway Festival. As you can see the Touring Life Of Flume includes: hanging around laptops on the regular, strobe lighting, girls dancing in slow motion, and entering/exiting cars of various sizes and music venues.
