Finn Brothers Inspire Star Studded Tribute Tour

The timeless pop sensibilities of Tim and Neil Finn have spawned two tribute albums; 2005’s female-centric She Will Have Her Way and 2010’s male skewed counterpart He Will Have His Way. Now they’ve inspired a gender neutral tribute tour spearheaded by some of Oz music’s biggest names. They Will Have Their Way launches in November with support from She alumni Sarah Blasko, Clare Bowditch, Sally Seltmann and Holly Throsby and He players Paul Dempsey, Oh Mercy’s Alexander Gow and Lior. The tour starts in Melbourne November 6th then travels through Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Sydney with modern interpretations of the Finn brothers’ fantastic back catalogue .

“The next phase of this musical project is to take it to the live stage with the same curatorial care that has been brought to the albums,” says John O’Donnell, the creative force behind the albums and executive producer of the tour. “It is important that the concerts have a strong and unique voice that complements and yet stands alone from the albums. It is a testament to the genius of Tim and Neil Finn that such an amazing collection of artists has agreed to be part of this tour.”
