Finish This Sentence With… Melbourne Band Baptism Of Uzi

Things are certainly coming up Milhouse for Melbourne’s most promising psychedelic-pop band, Baptism of Uzi. Triple J guy Richard Kingsmill praised their song, Stay Current, by drawing on its unique sound, “I hear touches of 90’s math rock in this… a wonderfully constructed and utterly compelling song.” Harmonies from the two lead guitars billow; synth solos are always more than welcome:

Triple J fans have received Baptism of Uzi with rapid affection, as they won their Unearthed competition—seeing them join The National, Frank Ocean and TV on The Radio at this year’s Splendour in The Grass.

Stay Current features on I OH YOU’s exclusive mixtape, “Coming Up, Not Down Vol II” that you can, and should, download here for FREE
