Fiddy’s Bankruptcy Judge Is Not Overly Chill With His Cash-Flashing Instagram

In a legal development that will surprise absolutely nobody, 50 Cent has been ordered before a court to explain why, after declaring bankruptcy last year, he continues to flash obscene wads of cash around on his Instagram.

Last year, Fiddy began claiming money troubles when he was ordered to pay $7m to Lastonia Leviston, the ex-girlfriend of rival Rick Ross, over an incident involving a leaked sex tape.
Per a Wall Street Journal report, Leviston alerted judge Ann Nevins – apparently the only person in the world not clued into the hilarity of Fiddy’s feed – to his Instagram at a hearing last week.
Amazingly enough, photos like the below, featuring Fiddy spelling out the word ‘BROKE’ in fat stacks of hundreds, were enough to make Nevins doubt the veracity of his claims, and now she is pissed and asking him to explain himself.
She has since ordered the rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, to come to her courtroom and explain himself, saying that bankruptcy is a process whereby “honest, but unfortunate” people can get a fresh start, and adding:

“I’m concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case. There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process.”
In other words, Fiddy keeps wads of bills in the fridge next to his Kraft singles, and is almost definitely full of shit.

Gotta keep a cool little $tash and some Effen Vodka Happy Holidays. #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO

Leviston is still waiting to receive her money from Jackson, and the rapper’s lawyers have lashed out at her, saying that this is all an attempt to “smear” his good name, and the cash is just for show:

“By including pictures from [Mr. Jackson’s] social media accounts and implying that [he] is hiding assets…the [three creditors] intentionally ignore that [Mr. Jackson] is in the entertainment and promotion business and must maintain his brand and image (or those of the products he is promoting).”
A date for Jackson to return to court has not yet been set.
