Cairns‘ own Eves Karydas gave it a red-hot go this week, slinking into the Triple J studios with a collective of people all in tasteful black outfits, putting down a heart-pulverising rendition of ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman‘.
Eves’ cover is stripped right back to smooth jazzy drums and synths to show off the gorgeous harmonising vocals of her and her two backup singers, and woof it’s such a good way to ease into a Friday where it feels like the rest of Australia is about to fall apart at the seams.
The gals got a solid set of pipes on her, lemme tell ya. She also smashed out a version of her own saccharine track ‘Further Than The Planes Fly‘ which is a gorgeous Friday mood.
Tbh just take ten mins out of your day today and bliss out. You deserve it.
