Is announcing even more top acts for a Festival which has already sold out one of it’s dates like rubbing acid into the wounds of punters who missed out on tickets? Because if I was in their shoes, and I was contemplating sitting at home in a darkened room on New Year’s Eve instead of rejoicing to the sounds of Lykke Li, Santogold, Cut Off Your Hands, Murs and Tame Impala at Falls Festival I’m pretty sure I’d want to break some shit. Or start a fire somewhere.
