Elton John has just unveiled a huge “fuck it, why not” to cap off his Australian touring history, announcing a further six shows to his Farewell Yellow Brick Road stint. This means the dude will play 32 shows over here between November 2019 and March 2020 – and that’s not even counting his New Zealand dates.

The Rocketman himself will now play extra shows in Geelong, Melbourne, Coffs Harbour, Townsville, the Sunshine Coast, and a little city called Sydney, in addition to the breathtaking array of shows we has already pencilled in to perform.
Those shows include two Perth dates, two sold-out gigs in Adelaide, four sold-out Melbourne shows, two sold-out Brisbane shows, four sold-out Sydney shows, two sold-out Hunter Valley shows, another sold-out Sydney show, another sold-out Brisbane show, two sold-out stints at QLD’s Mount Cotton for A Day On The Green, a sold-out show in Bathurst, two shows at Hanging Rock (one of which is, you guessed it, sold out), three-sold out Victorian A Day On The Green dates, a bunch of Kiwi dates covering Dunedin, Hawke’s Bay, and Auckland, and then the bulk of the just-announced gigs.
Christ.
