Ed Sheeran Donates Life-Sized Lego Model Of His Ginger Bonce To Charity Shop

Ed Sheeran, multimillionaire pop musician and ginger dag, is actually a sweet, good boy we should try not to make fun of so much, because the lad will never forget the township where he was raised: Framlingham in Suffolk. In an effort to give back to the English town, where he first blossomed into a man wielding an acoustic guitar and so many feelings, Sheeran regularly donates his old stuff to a local charity shop.

The latest? Well, earlier this week, what was once his local paper, the East Anglian Daily Times reported that very nice lad Mr Sheeran had donated a life-sized Lego model of his own ginger head to the St Elizabeth Hospice Charity Shop in Framlingham.

While staff at the shop have told the press the head was made by Sheeran while he was on tour, it seems more likely the donation is of a ~piece of art~ gifted to the singer by Legoland Windsor back in 2013:

Some smaller Lego creations – which may have been made on his tour bus – were also donated, as well as clothing, music books, his first record player, a skateboard, headphones and what seems to be collectible Heinz tomato sauce. They’ll be added to the shop’s collection, which also stocks jewellery inspired by the singer’s songs, as made by his mum, Imogen. It’s likely the Hospice will knock up an eBay store for the new stuff over the next few weeks, while holding back some items just for locals.

It’s not the first time Sheeran has dumped his junk on the charity shop: back in 2016, he donated 13 bags of his clothes, including the shirt he wore for a cameo in Bridget Jones’ Baby. The tatty stuff was then auctioned on eBay – although some remained for sale in the store itself, raising £2,500 ($4465) in just one day. In 2014, Ed Sheeran donated 100 pieces of clothing like hoodies, tees, trainers and a onesie to make the Hospice about £4,000 ($7139).

In late 2016, and then again in early 2017, Sheeran donated a heap of clothes to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, which were snapped up on eBay and in their charity store in Framlingham for a plum total of £8061 ($14,382) for the first batch, and £7,290 ($13,015) for the second. Oh and he also made ’em £2,650 selling his teenage drum kit.

Oh, and to make that moolah for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester, he auctioned off a brand new, signed acoustic guitar for £4500 ($8033).

There’s probably more Sheeran charity shop treasure you can dig up in England’s rolling hills if you feel like it – this seems like just the tip of the singer-songwriter’s generosity/urge to declutter.

And hey, it sure seems like ol’ mate does a big spring clean clear-out every one or two years/ Stars, they really are just like us, except our old shit ain’t worth nothing. Anyone want a very worn Mambo T-shirt from the ’90s?
