Dunst And Schwartzman Reunite

Marie Antoinette was Directed by Sofia Coppola. It starred Jason Schwartzman, her cousin, and Kirsten Dunst, the lead actress from her feature film debut The Virgin Suicides. Sofia’s Dad is Francis Ford. He famously cast Sofia in The Godfather III, apparently it didn’t go too well.

Like Marie Antoinette the below video for Opening Ceremony’s 2010 Spring Collection stars Jason Schwartzman and Kirsten Dunst. It was directed by Tracy Antonopoulos and Gia Coppola – Sofia’s niece and Jason’s cousin. The soundtrack is provided by Coconut Records – Schwartzman’s indie-pop solo project. His debut album Nighttiming featured vocals from Kirsten Dunst and the film clip for “Any Fun” the lead single from his sophomore album Davy featured a frolicking Chloe Sevigny. The very same Chloe Sevigny who designs a signature collection for Opening Ceremony. Blah blah blah Nic Cage blah blah blah Spike Jonze blah blah blah Phoenix blah blah.

I guess what I’m actually trying to say is this: Nepotism isn’t always a bad thing, just don’t cast your daughter in the final installment of a much love gangster trilogy because shit will get tainted. Check out the Gia Coppola Directed video for Opening Ceremony’s Spring 2010 collection below…
