Though I’ve faced completely avoidable legal dramas, battled an insurmountable credit card bill and may have contracted Swine Flu (unconfirmed) the most painful regret of my life thus far occurred on the dance floor of Oxford Art Factory twelve months ago.
It was the annual Duke Magazine Dance Off and I had made it to the final four – my legs weak from a vibe killing mix of anxiety and exhaustion. I still had my patented game changer (the worm) up my sleeve but decided to save it for the final two. I was eliminated that round and the world never got to see me break my back like an epileptic eel. Man life sucks sometimes.
Anyway the Duke Dance-Off returns again in ’09 with a mutant themed soiree and we highly recommend you enter. Sadly I’ll be watching from the sidelines or to quote the great George Michael – I’m never gonna dance again, guilty feet I’ve got no rhythm. That shit just hurts too much…
