There were endless possibilities for what Drake’s I’m Upset music video could have entailed. Think Twitter beef, rejections, call-outs – the full shebang but instead Drake AKA Jimmy Brooks went for something better and infinitely epic – a Degrassi reunion.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Canadian series then think Skins or other shows that centre on the hectic lives of teenagers complete with realistic gut-wrenching twists. The show ran for a seriously long time and first kicked off in 2001. Drake, first name Aubrey, last name Graham starred as eighth-grader Jimmy.

If you are familiar with Degrassi then rejoice in the news you’re about to see a grown up Spinner Mason (Shane Kippel) and Jimmy reunite with the rest of their mates.

As the music video shows, the two students head back to Degrassi Community School which is where all the cameos begin. There’s Stacey Farber, Adamo Ruggiero, Lauren Collins, Jake Epstein, Christina Schmidt, Andrea Lewis, Melissa McIntyre, Linlyn Lue, Stefan Brogen, Jake Goldsbie, Marc Donato, Dalmar Abuzeid, AJ Saudin (glow-up alert), Jason Mewes, Kevin Smith, Miriam McDonald, Cassie Steele, Nina Dobrev, Paula Brancati, and even Ephraim Ellis.

To punch you right in the feels, there’s even a cute Degrassi credits scene right at the end of the music video thanking each and every actor for making their cameo.

Oh, Drake also unleashed the release date and cover art for his upcoming album Scorpion via his Twitter.

Scorpion is set for release June 29.

You can chuck the video a suss below:

Naturally, Twitter’s absolutely frothing the music video… and the bloody glow-ups:
