AUBREY DRAKE GRAHAM: WHAT A MAN.
In case you missed it, over the last couple of weeks stories have surfaced about the artist we know as Drake popping into various establishments and dropping mad cash in the form of charitable donations (and groceries).

While there were rumours that it was all for his upcoming music video, we now have proof: the ‘God’s Plan‘ vid has dropped, and it’s a wild trip through the chart-topper’s acts of generosity.
As the video’s title card says, Drake got a budget from his label of nearly US$1,000,000 to spend on making it. He gave it all away (don’t tell the label), and got an exceptional video, directed by the exceptional talent Karena Evans, to boot.
The full list of lucky bastards who copped a donation from Champagne Papi himself is:
- Miami Senior High School
- Destiny James, University of Miami student
- the shoppers of Sabor Tropical Super Market
- women’s homeless shelter Lotus House of Miami
- Fontainebleau Hotel housekeeper and mother-of-five Odelie Paret
- and a bunch of unsuspecting families on the street.
On Insta, Drake called the video “the most important thing I have ever done in my career“, and we’d be inclined to agree. Stunt or no, he’s changed a bunch of people’s lives for the better, and cemented himself in people’s hearts as a true champion of pop.
