Drake & Eminem’s Beef That Never Was Got Squashed On-Stage In Detroit

RAP BEEFS. They keep that blackened sludge that courses through our veins pumping. Giver of life. Slayer of us all.

But if a beef isn’t really a beef, how do you squash it?
The scuttlebutt from the hip-hop world a little while back was that Detroit’s favourite son Eminem was preparing to unleash a fiery diss track aimed at October’s very own Drake.
Whilst we all salivated with glee at the potential fallout from such a monumental international incident, that would appear to well and truly off the cards now.
Nipping that particularly nasty little rumour right in the bud, Drake brought the man born Marshall Mathers out onto stage at his Detroit show earlier today (AUS time), with the crowd at the Joe Louis Arena going absolutely bonkers for the man Drake described as “the greatest rapper to ever get on the motherfucking mic.”
For his part, Eminem responded “It’s an honour to share the stage with this man right here.”

So there you have it, folks. That’s how you squash a non-existent beef.

They didn’t even have to perform the ceremonial burying of the hatchet or anything.
Now THAT’S efficiency!
