Dr. Dre Is Reportedly Working On Eminem’s New LP & Our Palms Are Sweaty

No need to be alarmed, but please take a seat because there’s more indications that your fave angry white boy rapper of the early 00’s is working on his next album, and god damn he’s gotten Dr. Dre in the studio with him.

Yep, I’m talking about Eminem – the guy who couldn’t grow facial hair until very recently, and part of the new HBO doco mini-series, The Defiant Ones.

He can grow a beard, AND he’s a brunette. My life is a lie.

Speaking to Uproxx about the upcoming four-part series that explores the lives of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine and how they essentially changed the music industry, producer Allen Hughes let slip a pretty huge and obvious clue that Em is working on the next album with Dre.
Dre still records. People don’t know this: Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting,” Allen said.

“Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album. So Dre’s still real active in music, you know?”

Extremely casually dropped that little gem right on in there, didn’t ya mate? Bloody tasty little morsel of info for us to nibble on. Ooh yum yum little treat.

The work-in-progress album will be the first solid run of music that Eminem’s released since The Marshall Mathers LP 2 back in 2013. The only other release he’s made in the last four years was the surprising diss track he dropped out of the blue late last year, spitting his well-known anger at Donald Trump and everyone that voted for him.
Em’s known as a bit of a recluse these days, but he’s resurfaced in the last couple of months – mostly to promote the upcoming HBO series and a very short run of shows in the UK, but also to wish his protégé 50 Cent a happy birthday (and admit that Fiddy almost made him quit rap for good).

What do you get the guy that has everything? Happy birthday @50cent.

Time to place bets on when the real Slim Shady will stand back up. I just wanna know if he’ll get out the peroxide again.
