Doughnut-Licker Ariana Grande Posts Apology Video, Ending Doughnut-Gate

Earlier this week, a video emerged of Ariana Grande licking a bunch of random doughnuts in a shop and then declaring that she hates America, and the internet could not even, for one second, handle the doughnut-licking, America-hating realness she was serving.
In case you somehow missed it, here’s what happened:
Grande briefly addressed the issue in a statement, saying that she is an “advocate for healthy eating” and “EXTREMELY proud to be an American”, but knowing that you need closure on this issue, has followed up with a lengthier apology  in the form of a video.
In the video, entitled ‘sorry babes’ – ??? – she said:
Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly, that you have no idea was taken, is such a rude awakening. It’s like you don’t know what to do. I was so disgusted with myself. I shoved my face in a pillow and wanted to disappear. But instead of that I’m gonna come forward and own up to what I did and take responsibility and say I’m sorry.

Because I reacted in a way that wasn’t necessary, to say the least, but also just wasn’t me at all. I apologize for my poor choice of words and for my behavior. Seeing how ugly it looks when you behave a certain way makes you want to never behave that way again.
And with that, the nightmare is over.
