Childish Gambino Just Revealed A Huge NZ Fest So Australia Is Next, Right?

Donald Glover has revealed he’s bringing his Childish Gambino concert experience PHAROS to New Zealand in November, promising three days of new music, guest artists, and what’s been billed as a “live dome performance each night.”

The camping event will be held across November 23, 24, and 25. Tickets can be snapped up through the PHAROS app for AU $191 – or NZ $206. The location? TBD, but Auckland reportedly has the nearest airport.

The bloke first introduced PHAROS back in 2016, when he staged an immersive performance of Awaken, My Love! tunes featuring unreal projections and visuals out in California’s Joshua Tree.

The guy was also kind enough to share a 360 degree video of Me And Your Mama for fans who couldn’t hoof it into the desert.

To really hammer in how big a deal this is, Glover even broke his self-imposed social media silence to point fans towards the event.

All of this comes amid his work on Atlanta, Solo, The Lion King, and god knows how many other projects. Maybe there will even be time for old mate to squeeze in a couple of Australian dates, but hell, a jump over to New Zealand is probably worth it.
