DJ Khaled is truly a man of many talents – featuring on literally everyone’s tracks, loudly shouting his own name at the start of said tracks, and rescuing his friends from potentially dangerous jet ski-related mishaps. Is there nothing this man can’t do?
Gossip monsters TMZ report that, on Thursday of this week, Khaled was out on the water off Miami with his friend and fellow producer Ayo Juan when Juan got into trouble, after he fell off his jet ski.
Khaled helped his buddy out of the water and contacted the coast guard, and in a video obtained by TMZ, can be heard laying “that boy Juan busted his ass!” before they arrived on the scene.
He can later be heard tut-tutting at his mate and telling him to thank the officers who performed the rescue. You can check out the video below:
Perhaps unsurprisingly, this is not DJ Khaled’s first hectic jet ski-based encounter. Back in 2015, he got lost at sea while riding home from Rick Ross‘ house, and sent out an increasingly desperate series of pleas for help via Snapchat.
Thankfully, that incident led us to the greatest public service announcement of our times: “please never try to drive [jet skis] at night and especially if [you’re] lost at sea”. Wiser words were truly never spoken.
