He was “discovered” by DFA records founders Tim Sweeney and James Murphy and has held several legendary residencies on New York’s club scene and has been a dancefloor main player ever since. Think strobe lights, confetti canons, silver afros and platform boots, Studio 54 style.
Jacques Renault will be spinning his sweet disco beats at Sydney club night Adult Disco next Saturday 29 May at Civic Underground. Pedestrian will be there taking snaps, running around with a video camera, and throwing handfuls of glitter about the room. Get your dancing shoes on and join the party.
He’s being supported by Andy Webb (Disco Delicious) and Future Classic DJs.
