Deerhunter New Album Details Revealed

We’ve been eagerly waiting for this one: News of indie rock four-piece Deerhunter’s next album has been leaked via Twitter. The music consulting firm Milk Money – based in Atlanta, Georgia where the band is from – recently tweeted this message:

You might remember the name Ben Allen because he was the man responsible for mixing of Animal Collective’s Fall Be Kind EP and Merriweather Post Pavilion, and he will be playing the role of producer for Deerhunter. The band, which has recently been touring with Spoon, Strange Boys and Micachu, has been recording the fourth full-length album at Chase Park Transduction in Athens, Georgia for the last month. The expectations are super high after their 2007 shoegaze-punk masterwork Microcastle. We can’t wait to hear what they do.
