Death Strobe is the record label/awesome-town venture created by Andy Webb (“I want to marry Björk, have an affair with James Murphy and ‘experiment’ at a Holiday Inn with Mylo and Herbie Hancock, then have The Flaming Lips around to write a song about it. In Flagranti would be my divorce lawyers”) and Ash Moses/Le Rouge, aka that guy with the ginger ‘fro who used to drop mad tunes at Club 77. When they’re not releasing heaps cool shit on vinyl, the boys throw pretty great parties, which have moved from Bondi Social to their new home at Hunky Dory Social Club. And it starts at 3pm every Sunday, which technically constitutes a ‘day party’. Now your friends will be super jealous.
