If you’re anything like us, you’ve had your sights firmly trained on the musical goings-on at Coachella for the last several days. But can we suggest, just for a second, that you adjust your view from the bottom of the west coast of the States to the top – Seattle, specifically, where none other than Dave Grohl has been spotted doing a smidge of good old-fashioned busking at a farmers market along with country star Brandi Carlile.

The Foo Fighters frontman busted out a harmony-heavy version of ‘Let It Be‘, backed up by Carlile and her mates (who she refers to as “the twins”), before wrapping up his set with the dad rock classic ‘Times Like These‘.

Although Grohl hadn’t announced his plans to treat the people of Seattle to a free show, Carlile posted a selfie of the pair on their way to her “old busking spot“at Pike Place Market just a few minutes before they hit the bricks.

Locals told the Seattle Times that the group played for about 15 or 20 minutes, and said that neither of them spoke to the fans clustering around at all.

Watch the whole thing below, and make up your own mind as to whether it knocks your local market busker ripping out another ‘Wonderwall‘ version out of the park.
