It’s not much more than a headline, but pretty exciting nonetheless. Somehow providing even fewer details than when he and Blur pulled out of their Big Day Out headlining slot, the Britpop frontman and former Gorilla Damon Albarn has announced that his first solo album (which he described to Rolling Stone in May as “sort of folk soul”) will coming in 2014, via this video on his Youtube channel:
