Cut Copy Replace Doves At Playground

While we were bummed when it was announced Doves were pulling out of Playground Weekender, we’ve just learned their replacement will be much loved Melbourne quartet Cut Copy.

Coinciding with the release of Cut Copy’s highly anticipated new album Zonoscope (stream it here) the band will bring their nostalgic New Wave-meets-the future aural landscape to convert Playground’s idyllic river banks into a hedonistic dance party. At least we hope so.

Aside from six stages of music the four day boutique festival offers mini golf, a swimming pool, wine and cocktail bars, hair and make up salon, river bathing in the Hawkesbury, market stalls, hula hoop workshops, beer & cider gardens and Australia’s largest fancy dress party.

First release tickets are all sold out however limited final release tickets are still available so get your skates on:
