Convicted Felon Chris Brown Joins Supafest 2012

A group of new artists have been announced for the Supafest 2012 bill including Missy Elliott, Naughty By Nature, Big Sean and convicted felon Chris Brown. They join the high pedigree ensemble of hip hop and R&B acts like Ice Cube, Rick Ross, Lupe Fiasco, P.Diddy and Kelly Rowland.

It seems a little unfair that the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship banned Snoop Dogg from entering the country in 2007 on character grounds because of prior criminal convictions (possession of marijuana), but have no problem with a guy who pleaded guilty to committing a violent crime against his girlfriend. But is that just splitting lips hairs?

SupaFest 2012 Dates:
14 April, RNA Showgrounds, Brisbane
15 April, ANZ Stadium, Sydney
21 April, Melbourne venue TBA
22 April, Arena Joondalup, Perth
