Client Liaison Ride Ansett Airlines W/ Tina Arena In ‘A Foreign Affair’ Clip

It was only a month ago that Client Liaison gave their audience bum tingles en mass at Splendour In The Grass.

They did so with one simple but effective tactic: they brought national treasure Tina Arena on stage with them for a surprise performance.

Yes, she sung Sorrento Moon.

Yes, it was more orgasmic than copping a wristie on the Back Beach of the aforementioned Victorian town.

Tina Arena and the CL boys first made magic when she lent her vocals on their tune ‘A Foreign Affair‘, released on their debut studio album, Diplomatic Immunity.

And today they’ve dropped the video clip which, true to their roots, pays homage to an Australia of yesteryear, Ansett Airlines and all.

While it’s sometimes hard to distinguish if these blokes are taking the piss out the extravagance of Oz in the ’80s or are just genuinely nostalgic for it, the clip is cinematically stunning.

Tina Arena dramatically serenading us as she flies above the golden city lights? Say no more:

The schmaltzy clip is by Tim White, a Melbourne-based filmmaker who, as your eyes will plainly tell you, has layered on the sass in thick amounts. the highly-esteemed film producer behind 2014 drama Sleeping Beauty and cult ’90s hit Oscar and Lucinda.

All in all, this is just another piece of evidence to support the fact we need Client Liaison to rep us at Eurovision.
