Alright, you’ve undoubtedly seen the Splendour set times and yes, it’s okay to panic – everyone’s panicking.
That being said, there are ways to see all the bands you’re keen on. Granted, you may miss a few minutes at the beginning or end of an act, but if you’re familiar with the musicians’ work, you’ll know what you can and can’t miss. For example, if you weren’t a fan of DMA’s ‘Like a Version’ of Believe (you’re wrong and I hate you but okay), you could probably afford to miss the end of their set in favour of SAFIA’s full set. Put down your pitchforks, it’s called balance people. I never said navigating SITG was going to be easy.
Anywho, I’ve put together a pretty bangin’ itinerary to help you get to all of my must-see acts, so if you have a slightly different taste in music I’m afraid we’ve come to a crossroads. If not then perfect, welcome to SITG heaven.
If you’re also severely unorganised and forgot to get tickets to Splendour, enter Carlton Dry‘s comp (here) to score two tickets plus an UnderthinKIT, packed with all your festival essentials from stubbie holders to a leg of ham. Chuck the vid a watch.

9:15 – 10:15pm – The Wombats (Amphitheatre)
10:45 – 12:00am – Kendrick Lamar (Amphitheatre)
*Weigh up your options – will PNAU kick off their set with a bona fide banger? Probably.
Okay, alright, I know that this isn’t really an actual plan for the Sunday as much as it is a suggestion that you stay at the Amphitheatre for six straight hours but can you blame me? If you miss PNAU, MGMT, The Wombats or Kendrick Lamar, did you even go to Splendour?
If you’re fuming that your faves aren’t on the list, the beauty of a SITG itinerary is that they’re flexible and you can and should go to see your bands/DJs/comedians of choice. But also, just follow mine – I’ve got it on lock. I even left time in each day to allow for food/drink/refuelling breaks.
Full disclosure, I’m fully aware that the Amphitheatre and the Mix Up Stage are on completely opposite sides of Splendour, so I’ve tried to allow enough time to get there and back without pulling a hammy.
You’re so welcome.
