City & Colour Just Announced A Wild 2020 Australian Tour And It’s Like He Never Left

City & Colour, led by Canadian legend/Alexisonfire clean vocalist and guitarist Dallas Green has just announced his Aussie tour, making it his 18th trip down under, and pretty much confirming that he clearly cannot get enough of us.

Returning in April next year, the man himself is set to play a bunch of intimate theatres around the country and will very likely make me cry again like every other time I see him.

Kicking off in Adelaide on April 15, City & Colour will head over Fremantle, before sweeping down the east coast, hitting Sydney and Melbourne, and rounding thing out over in Hobart on April 28.

Yes, I know there’s no Brisbane leg on this tour but hey quit complaining because YOU lot up north get to see ’em close out Brisbane Festival on September 28. That’s so much sooner than next April, you lucky buggers.

Never forget this banger, which I bought twice from the same CD shop because I thought the guy behind the counter was hot and needed a reason to talk to him. (It never worked out.)

City & Colour is about to release his sixth (!) studio album, A Pill For Loneliness, on October 4, so there’s gonna be plenty of time for you to memorise all the words so you can weep along to them at the shows.

Dallas and the City & Colour team are also taking Alex Lahey along for the tour, and after she got hefty praise from Gerard Way for her My Chemical Romance cover, hells bells she’s having a massively mid-00s emo day today, I’ll tell ya what.

Tickets for the whole tour go on sale from 12pm midday (local time) on October 4, peep all the dates below and get ready to feel literally all of your feelings at these shows.

Dallas and team City And Colour have locked in rescheduled dates for the 2020 tour, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Alex Lahey is still set to join Dal for the entire tour, but peep the dates below. And Fremantle, I expect you to turn up in full Halloween costume, thanks.
