Chris Martin Offered Beyoncé A Song, She Declared It To Be Some Bullshit

One time, Beyoncé punched Chris Martin in the face; it was awesome.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the Coldplay singer – who seems to get rejected all over the damn place – revealed that he once offered a song to Bey as a collaboration, only to have her turn it down in the most Beyoncé-ish way possible.
The song in question was called ‘Hook Up’ – not exactly a great sign – and when Martin offered it to Bey, she consciously uncoupled herself from the situation. He explained:
“She told me, ‘I really like you – but this is awful.’”
Brutal.
Beyoncé and Coldplay did eventually work together on A Head Full Of Dreams, then played yesterday’s Super Bowl half-time show, during which she dutifully upstaged the band by announcing a world tour.
A short time ago, after David Bowie‘s death, Coldplay revealed that he, too, shut them down hard when they presented him with a track as a potential collaboration, telling them “it’s not a very good song, is it?”
