A few months deep into the release of his gorgeous debut album Built On Glass and we’ve at last got a treatment for Chet Faker aka Nick Murphy’s standout slow jam “Gold”. The clip was helmed by Tokyo born director Hiro Murai (Earl Sweatshirt, Bloc Party, The Shins, Childish Gambino) and according to the press release, “plays upon the idea of desire and dysfunction featuring siren-like rollerskaters on a dark highway coaxing the viewer to the end of the line”. Translation? A more ebullient version of Radiohead’s “Karma Police” video.
