The cross over appeal of the Chemical Brothers is undeniable. Throughout my years – which included a significant house music phase (it was the late 90s) – I’ve seen every sub-culture imaginable dance to Chem Bros tunes: dudes with reflector panel pants and miniature, fluoro-orange faux fur backpacks, indie nerds who ‘never dance’, beautiful girls in Country Classics, shirtless football teams, the drama club, my dad… every super generalised group stereotype you can think of. My point is The Chemical Brothers are coming to Australia in March 2011 to tour the custom-designed live show for new album ‘Further’, and if you want to get in on their prodigious electronic juggernaut you’d best stay alert because they’ll sell out faster than you can say ‘Setting Sun’.
Tickets for these awe-inspiring shows will go on sale in the first week of August and fans are advised to get in quick to avoid disappointment.
