FOLKS, it’s here. Cardi B and Bruno Mars just dropped their new tune ‘Please Me’ right in time for the glorious weekend.
The song is available on all the usual streaming suspects including Spotify.

Of course, the release of the song didn’t come without a little bit of drama. Earlier this week, Cardi disappeared off Instagram for two days after she copped some backlash for her 2019 Grammy Awards win. The quickie hiatus came to an end though when Cardi returned to announce the gewd news.
“Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with @brunomars,” she announced adding the hashtag “twogrammywinningartist”.
At the awards ceremony, the artist won Best Rap Album for Invasion of Privacy, making her the first solo female act to do so.
In an Instagram video that has since been deleted, Cardi hit back at her critics who were quick to discredit her win and the amount of work she put into the album.
“Didn’t went to sleep in my own bed for four days straight. Pregnant,” Cardi said in the video.
“Some songs couldn’t even get on the album because my nose was so fucking stuffy from my pregnancy.”
Lady Gaga, along with many artists, showed their support for Cardi on social media.
“It is so hard to be a woman in this industry,” Gaga wrote. “What it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art. I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards. Let’s celebrate her fight. Lift her up & honor her. She is brave.”
