Cardi B Slams Aussie Paps For Getting Up In Her Face As Soon As She Landed

Cardi B, playing festival sets in Australia for the first time this month off the back of her smash debut Invasion of Privacy, has ripped shreds off Aussie paps for trying to accost her at Sydney Airport over the weekend.

In an attempt to avoid pap attention, Cardi wore a blanket over her head as she tried to casually get tf out of there. But still, she was followed by paps.

One of the photogs reportedly said:

You’re in Sydney now, mate, you’re in Australia. It’s our rules, not yours, buddy. Our rules, not yours. Be clear on that. What’s going on with the blanket, Cardi? You got an identity crisis or something? Give the fans a picture, Cardi.

So Cardi B said: “Can you guys please leave me alone?

Seems pretty straightforward. Leave that bitch alone.

On Insty yesterday, Cardi explained why she didn’t appreciate what that bloke was saying:

So as soon as I got here, you know, paparazzi’s all in my face, and I get that, I understand that. But what didn’t sit well with me was this man telling me, ‘You’re in Australia now…you’re playing by our rules.’

It don’t sit well with me when a white man tells me that shit. Like, excuse me? Sir…you think this is the 1800s? Are you crazy? Like, do you think that people are still getting oppressed or something?

It’s like, what is your rules? What are you talking about? Like, do I look like a little fucking slave to you? Do I look like a fucking slave to you or something? That’s how y’all see people? That’s how y’all see coloured people or something, that you guys say foul shit like that… That shit got me so fucking mad. That shit don’t sit well with me, like, it just made me think like, yo, I just want to go home.

A female photographer apparently also said: “No wonder your husband left ya,” which, wow, is an awful thing to say to a person, and also, like what do you know about her and Offset really? FFS.

There’s video footage of her publicist Patientce Foster, not taking that shit lightly, and basically screaming in the woman’s face to “WATCH YOUR MOUTH“. It’s kinda hectic.

But both Cardi B and Foster have defended their actions online, Cardi saying:

Not only is she my publicist, she’s my friend… I am mad at Patientce: she should’ve spit in that fucking lady’s face… That’s my bitch, and she’s been doing a great fucking job and I thank her every single fucking day.

Foster also wrote in her Insty Stories:

Understand me. Won’t no job ‘title’ ever change me or who I am! I will always defend myself, and the people around me! What’s ‘professional’ to you don’t mean to shit to me! PERIOD!

In a series of new posts overnight, Cardi B also spoke about the pressures of fame, and how she doesn’t give a shit what you think, okay? She’s just doing her job.

I’m letting ya’ll know right now, fuck that shit… Before you motherfuckers be like, ‘Oh, if you can’t handle fame, get out then, I’m so sick of you.’ Well bitch, you can’t handle being in your motherfucking job for motherfucking eight hours straight, standing up, right? But you still do it, right bitch?

Still, after the drama of landing, Cardi B played her first set at Origin Fields in Perth, and tearfully took to her Stories to say that she’s sad to leave the city, and had a lot of fun performing.

The video footage of the show that both she and Foster posted looks incred – feeling very jealous rn of everyone who was there, and who will be heading to catch her in Sydney at Field Day tomororw.
