Calvin Harris Rushed To Hospital After L.A. Car Crash, Cancels Shows

Calvin Harris was rushed to hospital after a car accident in Los Angeles over the weekend, and has been forced to cancel two shows while he recovers.
Police have said that a car, driven by an unnamed female teenager, crossed over the centre line on a narrow canyon road and crashed into the SUV in which Harris was a passenger.
Harris was taken to hospital by ambulance and treated for cuts to the face, but has since been released. He has cancelled several shows, including a regular gig as part of his residency at OMNIA in Las Vegas.
The female driver, who was allegedly not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from her car, and suffered a broken pelvis. It is unclear if any of her fellow passengers were injured.

A representative for the DJ, real name Adam Wiles, told media:

“Adam was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck in a serious collision last night in Los Angeles. He was examined by doctors and sustained a number of injuries. He has since been checked out of hospital and is now recovering. We wish all the other passengers involved in the incident a fast recovery. As a result he was not able to perform in Las Vegas at his OMNIA [nightclub] residency and will be unable to perform tonight at Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama.”
Taylor Swift has not yet commented, and may or may not be writing a pissed-off song about the other driver.
